I always wanted to display my artwork to people who are interested in art as much as I do. So, there I was organizing my e-mail account to lower the amount of space received mailes are occupying in my Inbox. That's when I stumbled upon an old message mailed by a high school friend whom was introducing her art work on deviantART. And that's the story of how I got here. It's awsome how fast comments by others are posted. So far they are helpful and encouraging.

Michelle Kaye, The executive director of St. Felix Community Centre came to my apartment today. Maybe that's why I'm feeling lethargic. I was so not used to waking up at 8am on a Friday when class starts at 2pm. Michelle came to inspect revisions of a logo I designed for their organization. She was technically my first client ever. I was embarrassed not to have a proper table in my new home. We consulted on the floor. Luckily, it was carpeted.
I was told to receive 50 dollars if they accept my logo. Since it is a non-profit organization, I decided I would donate it back in. However, she demanded to give me 200 dollars as a gift for voluntarily continuing to work on their suggestions after this project was supposed to be over about 4 months ago. Although she put it as an appreciation, she basically bought the right to own the logo off me for 200 bucks. All I really wanted from them in exchange is a reference letter or some kind of proof for my future job resume. But from the certainty of her voice, I decided not to refuse her generosity.
I called my mom for the good news after Michelle left. She told me to keep the money because it's the first profit I ever earned for myself. It is true and it felt rewarding. Considering my age, this is just another example of how spoiled I am.
Michelle wishes me to be present at their centre during the unveiling of the logo at a Christmas event. My mom demanded me to call Michelle and ask for 5 invitations so my whole family could be there. As much as I don't want my siblings to embarrass me, it is still an honourable event of mine for them to be present.

Digital Methodologies lecture starts in 1 minute. Oop! It starts right now. I decided not to go to class cuz I'm feeling kinda dazzed off and not so good. I will ask a classmate for notes and assignments on Monday.
